Abstract

Biomass is a high-potential renewable feedstock. To concentrate the stored energy, biomass can be converted to pyrolysis bio-oil which, in turn, can be used as a biofuel or a raw material for production of valuable chemicals. This review gives potential applications of biomass-derived bio-oils.
