Abstract

The present paper describes an effective and facile way of mineralization of analyzed samples containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) or other organic chloro derivatives using magnesium. It enables to determine PCB at concentration levels of mg/l (ppm). The visible spectroscopy or voltammetry could successfully be applied as final analytical techniques.
