The Choice of Base Electrolyte for Voltammetric Trichlorobiphenyls Determination Based on Surface Pressure Measurement
Abstract
A method of basic electrolyte choice for voltammetric determination of trichlorobiphenyl (TCB) in mixed solvents (water - ethanol, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, or formaldehyde, 1:1) containing 0.05 M H2SO4 or 0.05 M KOH as electrolytes, based on surface pressure measurement was described. The highest interphase activity of TCB was observed in 0.05 M KOH in a water - ethanol mixture (1:1), the lowest in 0.05 M H2SO4 in water - dimethylformamide.Downloads
