Abstract

This study describes general procedures for surveying and monitoring cooling circuits (hydrobiological and microbiological parameters) and specifies parameters that should be monitored (including pathogenic organisms, such as Legionella) to prevent growth of microorganisms. Toxicity tests are also recommended.
