Estimation Methods for Heat Capacity of Liquids
Abstrakt
A review is presented on most frequently used estimation methods for heat capacity of liquids. The methods are divided into two groups, QPPR and QSPR methods. For the estimation, QPPR methods require some physico-chemical properties of a compound to be known whereas QSPR methods are based on the knowledge of its molecular structure. QPPR methods, divided into methods based on the corresponding states principle, thermodynamic and empirical methods, are shortly discussed. Group contribution methods belonging to QSPRs are given in more detail and those based on statistical thermodynamics and quantum chemistry are briefly mentioned.Stahování
